History & Notes: Nell Irwin MacGregor wore this simple yet elegant dress at her wedding to Gordon MacGregor on February 10, 1940. In 2009, Nell's daughter Carol MacGregor donated this and many other pieces to the Idaho State Historical Society.
Description: Navy blue and multicolored striped dress with matching belt. Long sleeved dress with flared skirt in a synthetic navy fabric features over sized collar and cuffs in a multicolored striped synthetic fabric. Front closure is decorated with five navy blue buttons that are backed by three metal snaps. Self belt is held in place by braided thread loops. Side metal zip closure. Padding in shoulders.
