Description: Three piece tuxedo of black wool with black faille trim along lapels and sides of trousers. Vest is white faille with mother of pearl buttons down front. Open back with waist strap to secure the vest. Shirt is cotton with starched damask woven panel at front and short collar. Two buttons for closure at back. Starched collar hooks into shirt stud closure at back of shirt collar. White faille bow tie sits on adjustable elastic band. Felt top hat with silk accents. Short white kid leather gloves fasten with a single mother of pearl button at each wrist. White silken scarf features the same woven pattern as is seen on breast of shirt. Scarf is finished with a fringe of white sateen thread.
