History & Notes: This dress was owned by May Scott. May served as Idaho State Superintendent from 1900 to 1902 and married Judge Worthman.
Description: Peach, yellow, green, and lavender floral taffeta sleeveless dress with matching belt. Drop waisted with fitted bodice and circular skirt. Scoop neck in front with cowl neck in back. Bias binding to finish neck and arms eye. 2 fabric flowers attached to the right front shoulder, left side snap closure. Thread belt loops. 4 darts at waist above a 3" band that goes around the waistline and forms a "V" in front and back. 7" shaped bias ruffle on each hip that meets in front and back. Belt is the same fabric as dress with triangular clasp and clear jewels.
