History & Notes: Barbara Bedwell Hawley was an expert hobby seamstress who embellished or created many articles of clothing for herself and her children. Barbara made the shirt for her daughter, Jody Hawley Ochoa. The piece is pictured here with a skirt that also exhibits her handiwork.
Description: Off-white button down long sleeved shirt with two breast pockets. Shirt is trimmed with multi-colored flowers bordered in red embroidery along collar, cuffs, front closure, and pocket flaps.
