Description: Straw Picture, or Merry Widow Hat with wide elliptical brim and deep crown. Interior of crown is lined with a fine silk featuring a drawstring hem for adjustable sizing. The brim edge is supported by silk wrapped wire. A bed of fabric blooms covers the crown and is trimmed with a vine of velvet bleeding hearts and leaves encircling and crossing the crown. Large, white ostrich feather plume drapes across the crown and over the side of brim.
