History & Notes: Part of the collection from the Sherwood Store and Museum. The Sherwood family settled in the Henry's Lake in the 1880s. The Sherwood Store served as a general store, inn, and homestead. Eventually, the Sherwood family created a museum within the historic building which was maintained until the 1990s. In 1991, the family donated the contents of the Sherwood Store and Museum to the Idaho State Historical Society.
