History & Notes: Part of wedding suit worn by Maria Sabala when she married Antone Uranga in August 1906 at St. John's Cathedral in Boise. Bishop Glorieaux performed the ceremony. According to the 1920 U.S. Census Maria was born in Spain, estimated birth year 1888. Antone was born in Spain, estimated birth year 1878. They had six children in 1920 - two daughters and four sons.
Description: White fabric (possibly linen) with 2 3/4" embroidered eyelet edging, 8 stays. 9 1/2" tassels. Fabric ruffled at top where fabric is fastened to shaft.
