History & Notes: Possibly from Lina Bauer's mother who died in 1909 while Lina was living in Liverpool, England. Donated to Idaho Historical Museum by Linda Riggs Allen, the granddaughter of Lina Bauer.
Description: Memorial pin or broach made of brown human hair and metal backing. Circular in shape. Hair portion sewn onto metal backing in six places with black thread. Victorian memorial broaches were made out of a deceased family member's hair and worn in memorial of them.
