History & Notes: Edith Bedard wore this sweet flannel dress when she was a toddler. Edith was born in 1913 in Boise, Idaho. She married Orrin Bedard in 1940 and the two resided in Boise until their deaths. In 1996, Edith donated her childhood dress and several other pieces to the Idaho State Historical Society.
Description: Flannel print child's dress. Two different prints are used in the dress, one of black and white check and a black and white floral print. Peach and white edging along collar, pocket, cuffs, and waist. Drop waist skirt is pleated. Back button closure would have originally been facilitated with five white glass buttons, however one is missing.
