History & Notes: This belt belonged to Harriet Williams Bryan, wife of Dr. Enoch A. Bryan who was president of Washington State University (then Washington Agricultural College) and served as Commissioner of Education for Idaho in the early 1900s.
Description: White sash-like belt; gathered and boned in three places in back; front has oval mother-of-pearl clasp; stripes and designs in very light blue.
