History & Notes: Uniform was purchased by the donor at a Salvation Army store. Later identified as a uniform typically worn by volunteers of the Red Cross during World War II.
Description: Ladies' Red Cross uniform. White Rayon dress with long sleeves. Breast pocket sewn on left side and embroidered with red cross. Studded navy blue epaulets on each shoulder. Matching navy cuff guards with 3 stud closure. Organza cap (not pictured) with machine embroidered red cross.
