History & Notes: This black dress belonged to Rosa Lee Wilkins, wife of John E. Wilkins. John and his sister Kitty owned and operated the Wilkins Company which traded in horses throughout the west during the turn of the century. Rosa was an accomplished seamstress.
Description: Two piece floor length black silk dress with tucks and lace, insertions and medallions; full elbow length sleeves. Shirred self fabric sash. Long black silk taffeta petticoat.
