History & Notes: This gown was worn by Murial Gertrude Shaw for her marriage to Donald Strehle Whitehead on November 17, 1909. Murial and Donald were both Boise High School graduates and their wedding was marked by its "utter simplicity" in the Society section of the Idaho Daily Statesman.
