History & Notes: This suit was worn by Vivan Bellus for his wedding to Mary Ida Coston October 17, 1889. Ida Mary Bellus Harley, Vivan and Mary Ida's daughter, then donated the suit, along with Mary Ida's gown, to the Idaho State Historical Society in 1955.
Description: Three piece man's suit. Comprises vest, suit jacket, and pants. Main fabric is black faille. Buttons are flat and feature a braided covering.
